Mr. Scott Bowman, PE, LEED AP
Scott Bowman, PE, LEED® AP, has 28 years experience in mechanical engineering. He has spent the past 19 years with KJWW Engineering Consultants, a 460-person firm with offices in six Midwest cities and an office in India. He became a principal with corporate responsibilities in 2002. Based in Des Moines, Iowa, Bowman plays an active role in project development and systems planning. His specialties are in direct digital controls, energy efficiency, sustainable and green design, and systems commissioning. He is a licensed Professional Engineer and LEED® Accredited Professional. Bowman serves as a mentor to new engineers and project managers and leads or participates in several management and committee teams responsible for developing the firm’s design standards, operational procedures and training programs. As a project director, he has provided leadership on more than $350 million in new construction in the past five years. His recent presentations include:
