Mr. Peter A. Shannon
Current Responsibilities
Peter Shannon is a Senior Vice President with Jones Lang LaSalle’s Strategic Consulting Group. Mr. Shannon is a licensed architect and has responsibility for capital program consulting and corporate real estate advisory. He specializes in occupier portfolio strategy, and assists corporate clients in optimizing portfolio performance. He also helps clients with operational and financial controls associated with capital programs including pre-construction planning, feasibility analysis, construction program and project management, commissioning and operations.
Experience
Mr. Shannon brings more than 20-years experience in design, construction, development and real estate advisory. He specializes in corporate real estate, serving major companies and institutions such as Bank of America, National City Bank, Sprint, McDonald’s, Starbucks, 3M, Home Depot and Hyatt Hotels.
He has worked on engagements in a wide range of markets and industries, allowing him to provide clients with an informed perspective on national real estate trends and facility leading practices. Recent expertise includes workplace strategies, portfolio optimization, Six Sigma diagnostics and development of policies and procedures for major, multi-site capital programs.
Education and Affiliations
Mr. Shannon earned both his MBA and bachelor of science in architecture from the University of Illinois. During these years he studied abroad with the Universite Pedagogique d’Architecture in Versailles, France and Chulalongkhorn University in Bangkok, Thailand. He is a member of CoreNet and the American Institute of Architects, where he serves on its national Corporate Architects Knowledge Community.
