Mr. Brad Tomecek

We are a design oriented architectural practice intertwining poetics and alternative construction methods. We have explored unique building systems including Structural Insulated Panels, Factory Built Construction, Shipping Container Structures and we are currently working with an Imported German Prefabricated Panel System. We are constantly working with new systems to better understand the benefits and disadvantages relative to each other.

Poetics | Systems

Our lecture is based on Studio H:T's last five years of work. It combines our philosophy of thoughtful construction and material uses with explorations of alternative building systems - including SIPS panels, modular off site prefab, shipping containers and currently imported German prefab. There are overlays about the city of Boulder's progressive green mentality, the materials and landscape of Colorado and the experiences we have had getting a young firm off the ground.
